Early Morning School Bus Brawl

Several police cars surrounded a school bus near Chapel Hill High School Wednesday morning.

Chapel Hill-Carrboro City Schools Director of Transportation Mary Lin Truelove says there was a disturbance on the bus.

Chapel Hill police arrested two students and removed them from the bus.

Lieutenant Kevin Gunter says police believe the fight was a continuation of a previous altercation.

In addition to being charged, the two students were suspended from school for 10 days. School officials are looking into the earlier fight to determine if other students were involved.
