The Heels came into their match-up in Chestnut Hill, Massachusetts unbeaten on the season, but just 2 games removed from a tie that almost cost them the number one national ranking. 

That ranking was again in jeopardy as BC drew first blood in the 55th minute with a goal.  Casey Nogueira scored the equalizer in the 74th minute on a penalty kick.  Ali Hawkins scored the game winning goal seven minutes later, giving Carolina their 10th win on the season.

The Tar Heels, who are 3 and 0 in ACC play, keep their road trip going Sunday as they visit Blacksburg, Virginia when they take on Virginia Tech.  That game is scheduled to kick off at 5 p.m.
