Price Challenger Lawson Talks on Franklin St.
04/02/08 11:30PM

During Wednesday morning’s speech at the Mediterranean Deli on Franklin Street, BJ Lawson, a hopeful U.S. Congress representative, stated it’s time to bring change to Washington.

Lawson is challenging David Price for the Republican nomination and bases his platform on economics.  He says Americans are living in a time when the Federal Reserve is printing and borrowing an astonishing amount of money.  According to Lawson, this is ultimately causing people to work a lot harder for the same amount of money.

Lawson says that dollars are buying a lot less than they did a few years ago… and grocery and gas bills are proof of this.  According to Lawson… the money is being created to keep an unstable economy going but it is time that the government follow the constitution.
